Tuning In
I’m a web developer, writer, and systems thinker exploring the intersections of code, culture, and creative inquiry. My background blends higher ed, software, and storytelling—fields I see not as separate, but deeply entangled.
I built The Signal Journal as a space to reflect out loud. Here, I write about what I’m learning and what I’m still unlearning: from JavaScript to generative AI, from accessibility to vibe coding, from Afro-diasporic traditions to software architecture. It’s where the tech meets the texture.
This space isn’t about thought leadership or personal branding. It’s about tuning into the signals I encounter—online and offline—and turning them into something thoughtful, useful, or maybe just honest.
Sometimes the posts will sound like a developer talking to themselves. Sometimes like a poet figuring something out. Sometimes like someone walking through a system with a flashlight.
I don’t have all the answers. But I do believe in learning out loud, designing with care, and making space for nuance in the way we write, build, and connect.
Thanks for being here. Let’s see what comes through.
